Job Opening: European Genomics Project Manager
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced ‘Project Manager’ to support a multi-stakeholder genomics coalition at the EU level
In this role you will provide the Secretariat function for a newly established multi-stakeholder coalition at the EU level, the European Coalition for Access to Comprehensive Genomic Profiling (ECGP), and help transition European healthcare systems toward personalised medicine. This first-of-its-kind European coalition brings together European experts representing clinicians, patients, pathologists, pharmaceutical companies and advanced diagnostic companies to address the lack of access to Comprehensive Genomic Profiling (CGP).

Job type: Part-Time (2 days per week)
Responsibilities
- Support with Secretariat functions for the multi-stakeholder coalition, facilitating communication and coordination among diverse stakeholders.
- Help prepare and organise internal coalition meetings (e.g. Steering Group meetings, calls with sponsoring companies), ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Act as a liaison between coalition members and third partiers responsible for executing activities at the Member State level.
- Collaborate with the EUCOPE Secretariat, member companies and external partners to advance the coalitions’ mission.
- Proactively propose activities and draft the work programme for the coalition, based on input from Members.
Qualifications
- Experience working in multi-stakeholder coalitions, preferable within the healthcare sector.
- Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate coalition members toward common goals.
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills to address differences among stakeholders.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills to engage diverse stakeholders, including healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, government agencies and industry representatives.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute and monitor complex projects
- 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably with EU projects
- Experience in budget planning and financial management
- Genomics / Precision oncology knowledge
- Basic genomics / precision oncology knowledge is desired. Knowledge of rare diseases would also be beneficial.
- In-depth understanding of the healthcare industry required. This could include knowledge of healthcare systems, policies and regulations, with focus on pricing and reimbursement / market access pathways.
- The ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans and objectives for the coalition’s goals related to patient access in healthcare.
- Communication skills
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective communication among coalition members and external stakeholders.
- Experience with preparing reports, presentations and policy documents.
