Position: Communications Manager

Location: On-site

Job Type: Full-time

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Developing and executing both external and internal communications strategies that resonate with our audience.
• Crafting compelling press releases and other media communications, managing our website, blog and podcast, and maintaining our social media presence.
• Building and nurturing relationships with key media outlets in the EU and globally.
• Collaborating closely with our public affairs team to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a candidate with a passion for communications and a deep understanding of the EU institutions. You’ll have gained some experience in communications or public relations, preferably in the life science sector and hold a degree in communications, public relations, or marketing. Above all, you’re a natural communicator with a knack for nurturing and growing relationships and a drive to succeed.

Qualifications:

• Written Communication and Language Skills: You excel at distilling complex issues into clear and engaging communications. Fluency in written and spoken English is a must, along with proficiency in at least one other EU language.
• Technical Proficiency: You’re comfortable using a variety of tools and platforms, from Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite to WordPress and social media channels. Experience with SEO techniques, multimedia content production, and social media marketing is a plus.
