13. Oct 2022
Alexion is happy to invite you to their annual conference, which will build on the conclusions of previous events in order to develop recommendations on the way forward for the rare disease ecosystem.
The event will reflect on several aspects that may be included in the new legislative framework, trying to answer the question: How to create a resilient rare disease ecosystem for the next decade?
In the opening session, the work of the Expert Group on Orphan Drug Incentives will be presented. The group is a multi-stakeholder alliance that has developed a set of proposals for the creation of a resilient and innovative rare disease ecosystem. The following sessions will be dedicated to issues around the diagnosis of rare diseases and how to stimulate innovation and research for treatments. The Conference will conclude with a discussion on the possible policies to adopt and the need to reinforce cooperation across different stakeholders.
Block your calendar on 13 October, from h14.00 to h18.00 CET, and join also the following networking reception. More information and the registration link will be shared with you soon.
In the meantime, read our Alexion_Rare_Conversations_ 2021_Report, where we summarize the key takeaways from our event series in 2021! The Report collects the main recommendations that the Experts developed to foster the rare disease ecosystem and boost innovation
