Position Paper on Gene & Cell Therapies – Game-changer solutions ?

Gene & Cell therapies have arrived, and bring with them important challenges.

Our Task Force, including some of our members active in gene and cell therapies, have worked on a position paper addressing some important questions raised by these novel techniques.

The paper sets out our take on

• HTA and evidential options
• Funding solutions
• Patient access and cross-border healthcare

This paper is the first step of a greater work and reflection from EUCOPE on how our health systems in Europe can embrace these technologies, seen by many as real game-changers for patients. We will further disseminate our paper and discuss with our partners and stakeholders at the EU and national level to bring those revolutionary solutions to patients.
